Kris Allen is your new “American Idol.”

Among the traditions that go with all the Monday-morning quarterbacking is the release of the coronation song to radio. Get ready to hear “No Boundaries,” co-written by Kara DioGuardi, on the radio a lot today. The recorded version isn’t as bad as the live versions seemed, but that’s not saying much.

The final list of the guest performers on the finale of American Idol was star-studded. On Wednesday night, the guest performances on Adam Lambert’s face off with Kris Allen was to include David Cook, Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black-Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Jason Mraz, David Bowie and the band KISS.

Cyndi Lauper sang Time After Time with Allison Iraheta and performed well, even if their voices do not match. Their chemistry showed, and they seemed completely in sync as they listened and then played off each other in an obviously rehearsed manner.

  1. I am ultra depressed that Lost is over. I can’t believe I am watching the last episode tonight. What are we going to do now that it’s gone. Daniel Dae Kim is so hot! I am going to miss him. I am guessing there will be a movie deal now.
